If you've stumbled upon this place, I'm fairly certain you know what everything means and/or is. However, if you're totally lost, I'll give you some basic information about what FttM World is, and I may even let you know what it isn't in the process.
FttM World is a forum to post about my Face to the Mat wrestling promotion. Face to the Mat is a card, dice, and chart wrestling simulator by PLAAY Games. FttM allows you to fully create and run a fantasy wrestling promotion and tell the story as it unfolds.
The story here is of the Fantasy Wrestling League, an independent promotion owned and operated by retired wrestler, "Mr. Fantasy" Francis Fairchild. I'd say 99% of the creations here are from me, but I do like to use the micro art from B-Mack to represent the characters in my promotion. Yes, I do have a lot of characters based on real life wrestlers.
In this universe, the major wrestling promotion is the Wrestling America Federation, the fictional promotion that comes from PLAAY. Fairchild is trying to take them on, but he isn't anywhere near ready to go head-to-head. The majority of the talent in the FWL are unknown and/or new to the wild sport of professional wrestling.
In the end, I'm excited to see how each character rises and falls as time goes on. I'd love it if you stopped by to check this out often, but I understand if you forget this even exists. I'd like to run a show once a week, but I can only do what I can do with the time I have. Sadly, I have very little time these days for hobbies. Lastly, I'd love for other promotions to enter this little universe as well, but for now, I'm running this all solo.
